A note on Bridal Henna & Pre-Natal Henna

If you would like to have bridal henna or pre-natal henna as part of a shower or event, there must be a separate, quiet room where I can henna the bride / mom-to-be alone.
Bridal henna can be very intricate work that requires my focus & for the bride to be still. If booking traditional (full hands) bridal henna alone, please have one friend with the bride to help her after the henna is complete, as both hands will be wrapped up for hours.
Pre-natal henna already has the challenge of a moving canvas as the mom breathes... Is practically impossible if the mom-to-be is talking or moving around... lol.
As soon as the henna is complete, friends & family can rejoin the festivities.

A note on Children’s Parties:

I do not henna children under the age of 6.
A few reasons:
- The skin on younger children is usually too sensitive for the lemon juice & essential oil that is in my paste.
- They usually can't kit still long enough for the henna to dry without smudging it
- Though extremely rare, a child under 6 could have a G6PD enzyme deficiency without their M.D. or parents knowing.
If there are going to be children under the age of 6 present at a party, please let me know in advance so that I can bring some non-staining ‘glitter henna’ for them.
